We do not advise injectable treatments if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are are allergic to any ingredients, or if you have certain medical conditions.
Injectable treatments should be avoided if there is local inflammation or infection as well as a history of keloid scars
If you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could contribute to another eruption of cold sores. Please let me know if you are prone as we may need to give you a course of antiviral tablets in the days leading up to treatment.
With injectable procedures, you may experience some bruising or redness, so it is important to think about this if you have an important function or event ahead.
Please inform the clinic if you have any questions about this prior to your treatment.
Please also refer to the treatment page for treatment-specific advice.
