Treatment Time: 30-40 minutes
Number of Treatments: Usually 1 plus review
Length of Results: 3-4 months
Recovery: Back to work same day
Cost: Prices start from £160

Botulinum toxin works by temporarily blocking signals between facial nerves and muscles, relaxing and preventing muscle contractions which create fine lines and wrinkles. It has been used and known to be safe since the 1970s.
The most common areas treated are the frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead lines, and crows feet lines around the eyes. Other areas include bunny lines, upper lip vertical lines, the masseter muscles for jaw slimming, and gummy smile treatment.
-
We begin with a thorough consultation, allowing time to develop a personalised treatment plan. Dosages are carefully tailored to your facial anatomy, ensuring the most natural results. The aim is to soften lines but also maintain facial movement.
The area of treatment will be thoroughly cleansed before a series of targeted injections are used to deliver tiny doses of botulinum toxin into facial muscles. The needles used are very fine and cause minimal discomfort.
Some people notice a result within a few days but optimal results are usually visible at approximately 2 weeks after treatment. Most anti-wrinkle treatments last between 3-4 months. Results can vary depending on the quality of your skin and amount administered.
A review appointment at 2 weeks allows for top up treatment to fine tune results if necessary.
-
4 hours post Treatment
Stay upright for 4 hours to avoid migration of the Botox to other areas.
12-24 Hours Post Treatment
Aim to keep skin clean by avoiding touching the treatment site(s) and applying makeup or skincare products. Minimise heavy exercise to avoid skin infection and potential shift of the active ingredient to unwanted muscles.
Avoid drinking alcohol or taking over the counter blood thinners such as aspirin and ibuprofen to help prevent unnecessary bruising.
It is also best to avoid using actives in skin care such as retinoids and exfoliating acids.
-

Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are a new and exciting injectable product taking the aesthetics community by storm. Using a unique bio-stimulatory process that encourages collagen production, Polynucleotides are designed to improve skin quality, appearance and elasticity. As such, this is a fantastic preventative regenerative treatment aimed at maintaining skin quality.
Treatment Time: 30-60mins
Number of Treatments: 3-4 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart
Length of Results: 6 months+
Recovery: Some swelling up to a few days
Cost: Prices start from £340

Polynucleotides are highly purified and sterilised DNA molecules naturally extracted from fish sources. When injected into the skin, they enhance skin quality by regenerating damaged and aged skin cells by stimulating cells called fibroblasts.
Through their ability to produce collagen, fibroblasts are responsible for the formation of connective tissue which helps maintain the skin’s structure, providing improved elasticity and glow. They also function as wound healing agents improving scars as well as pigmentation.
-
Before you undergo treatment, the skin is cleansed thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris. A numbing cream is then applied before multiple superficial injections are administered across the treatment area.
A series of three treatments, two to four weeks apart, is recommended for best results. Polynucleotides can be used anywhere on the face, even under the eyes, on the neck, décolletage, hands, arms and knees and they have also been found to have a bio-stimulatory effect for hair regeneration.
First signs of improvement are seen two weeks after the first treatment, with full effects visible from 4 weeks.
-
Keep the skin clean from makeup for 24 hours. Avoid exercise and alcohol in this time to minimise bruising and risk of infection.
Avoid active ingredients for 48 hours and a daily SPF 50 is advised.
-
What are the benefits of treatment?
Results vary from person to person, however after a course of three treatments, Polynucleotides should result in an improvement in overall skin quality and texture, a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, a reduction in pore size, as well as an improvement in skin hydration and pigmentation.
Polynucleotides also aid with skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and scarring thanks to an anti-inflammatory effect.Injections into the tear trough area should result in less shadowing and hollowing under the eyes.
Do the injections hurt?
A numbing cream is applied, however you may feel a mild stinging sensation as the injection is given.
Are there possible side effects?Polynucleotides have an excellent safety record and profile, although, as with any treatment involving injections, you may experience some swelling and redness afterwards, but this usually settles after 2-3 days. For treatments in the more delicate under eye area, the swelling may take a little longer to resolve and can be up to a maximum of 7 days.
Some patients also experience bruising, pin-prick bleeding and or discomfort and itchiness.
Can polynucleotides be used alongside other treatments?Polynucleotides are also known as a ‘skin primer’, meaning they can prepare the skin and make it more receptive to other treatments you may be having. If used in conjunction with other treatments, they can enhance and prolong results.

Profhilo works by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin by slowly releasing hyaluronic acid . Collagen and elastin boost the appearance of skin tone and quality resulting in firmer brighter skin. It can be used in the face, neck and décolletage.
For younger people with less volume loss, Profhilo is a wonderful preventative treatment. For those with more visible signs of ageing, Profhilo is perfect for treating crepey skin and fine lines on the face or neck.
-
A course of Profhilo involves two injectable treatments, four weeks apart.
The treatment area is cleansed and carefully mapped to ensure the safest injection points and optimal results.
Five injections are performed on either side of the face (or ten points on the neck) leaving a small pocket of hyaluronic acid gel under the skin.
There may be slight swelling, redness and bruising around injection points, however downtime is minimal, usually a day, whilst the product boluses are absorbed into the dermis and even out.
Thereafter, patients will see a gradual increase in skin hydration, and improvement in fine lines and tightness of the skin. The best results are seen after about eight weeks with improved firmness, elasticity and overall quality of the skin.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally degraded by the body so effects are temporary, with results lasting up to six months.

Microneedling
Microneedling helps treat wrinkles, fine lines, scarring, stretch marks, large pores, hair loss, and pigmentation. The treatment uses multiple fine, sterile needles to puncture the skin’s surface, initiating a healing response that plumps, firms and smoothes the skin.
Treatment Time: 60 minutes
Number of Treatments: 3 sessions with 4 weeks between each one
Length of Results: 6 months+
Recovery: Few days
Cost: Prices start from £150
-
The clinic uses the Amiea Med Exceed Device, the only double cleared FDA device clinically proven to reduce acne scars and stretch marks as well as wrinkles and skin texture.
The device uses adjustable tiny needles to make controlled punctures in the upper layer of the skin. This initiates the body’s natural repair response by shedding dead and old skin and promoting new skin growth. Collagen and elastin production is stimulated which makes the skin look brighter and smoother. Pigmentation and acne scars also show improvement.
An added benefit is that skincare products such as hyaluronic acid or exosomes are able to penetrate more deeply into the skin, making them more effective.
-
The treatment area is thoroughly cleansed and a numbing cream is applied to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible.
After the procedure, there may be redness, mild swelling and minor pin point bleeding, with a sensation and appearance similar to sunburn. This should last no longer than a few days.
-
Keep the skin clean and hydrated using simple hydrating moisturisers. It’s also best to minimise exercise and alcohol while the skin is healing.
Avoid sun exposure for 14 days and we recommend SPF 50.
It’s also best to avoid the use of ‘active’ skincare products (retinol, vitamin c and exfoliating acids) up to 7 days after treatment, until the skin has calmed.
-
What are the benefits of treatment?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that harnesses your skin’s innate healing powers by stimulating the production of fresh collagen and elastin. This, in turn, reduces the appearance of fine lines, improves the skin’s tone and texture, shrinks large pores, as well as helps with scarring and hyperpigmentation.
People generally find that they see ongoing improvements to their skin health and texture for at least six to eight weeks after treatment. This is because of the cumulative effect of new collagen production.
What do I do before my treatment?
Avoid active ingredients such as retinols, acids and vitamin C for 7 days beforehand.
Avoid alcohol and extreme exercise for 24 hours beforehand.
What is the downtime after the procedure?
The skin may look a red, blotchy and be sensitive for a few days with some dryness and flaking.
Extra care should be taken of your sensitive skin post procedure and we advise to avoid touching it to prevent infection. We also advise a daily SPF50 for at least 14 days.
Does microneedling hurt?
A numbing cream is applied, however there may be some mild discomfort during the treatment depending on the individual's pain tolerance and skin sensitivity. Many people describe the sensation as simply a mild prickling feeling.
Can microneedling be used alongside other treatments?Yes it can be used alongside peels and exosomes.
